- Nurturing Parenting class parents with very young children are welcome to have their children with them during class. However, if moms and dads would prefer to have a “break” there are Nurturing Center staff available to care for their children. Trained adult “Nurturing” facilitators and teen volunteers provide excellent care and “Nurturing Young Children and Adolescents” principles throughout class time. Teen facilitators who work 16 hours at the Nurturing Center, receive 1/2 credit toward their high school graduation requirements.

What We Do:
Pagosa Springs Nurturing Center provides a caring and non-judgmental atmosphere for all family members.
Our purpose is to allow parents to have meaningful relationships with their children in a safe environment through Nurturing Parenting Program groups and classes and Supervised Visitation/ Safe Exchange. We also act as a Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) work site where parents can bring their children.
We are a non-profit organization trying to raise funds year-round so we can teach and offer more to those in need. If you can donate, we'd like to thank you in advance. Every little bit helps and we are grateful!
